Heidi Hanson
Chair of the Board
Joined Fair Association: 2008
Heidi Hanson was named Director in 2014 and has served as Chair of the Board since June 2019. She has also served on the Finance committee for the Child Development Center at Fairplex and the Career and Technical Education Center’s agriculture advisory committee, a program of The Learning Centers at Fairplex. Mrs. Hanson has worked at Rain Bird for over 20 years and is Finance & Administrative Manager for Rain Bird International. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Rain Bird Corporation. Mrs. Hanson has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, a Master of Accounting with a Concentration in Tax from the University of Southern California, and an Executive MBA from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. She is married with three children, all of whom attended the Child Development Center at Fairplex.

John Landherr
Vice Chair of the Board
Joined Fair Association: 2013
John Landherr was named Director in 2015 and Vice Chair of the Board in 2021. He also serves as the LACFA Finance Committee Chair. Mr. Landherr is Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of A-Z Bus Sales Inc., a transportation dealer-distributor serving the education, government, public sector, commercial, and private fleet markets with a broad portfolio of bus solutions in several states. He has over 28 years of experience in executive leadership roles at multiple companies. Before joining A-Z he served as President of Certified Aviation Services (CAS) where he was responsible for leading its growth from a regional provider to an international aircraft services company with 25 locations across the US serving all major commercial airlines both domestically and abroad.
Mr. Landherr served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CH-53 Super Stallion weapons and tactics instructor pilot at the Marine Corps’ aviation squadron, MAWTS-1, where he was the subject matter expert for combat search and rescue operations.
Mr. Landherr additionally serves on the Pomona Valley Hospital and Medical Center Board, on its Executive and Finance Committees, as founding Board Member of Chino Hills Aquatics, public address announcer for the Chino Hills High School Varsity Football Team, a Blue and Gold Admissions Officer for the US Naval Academy Admissions Office, and as an usher for Inland Hills Church in Chino Hills. A native of Temple, Texas, Mr. Landherr earned a bachelor’s degree from the US Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is married with three children.

Linda Bosserman
Secretary of the Board
Joined Fair Association: 2001
Linda was named Director in 2016 and has served as the secretary of the Board of Directors since 2017. She also serves as Chair on the Audit Committee, as well as serving on the Investment Committee. Dr. Bosserman is a Professor of Medical Oncology and Director of Value-Based Care and the Center for International Medicine. After practicing oncology in our community for 26 years her practice joined City of Hope in 2014. Dr. Bosserman focuses her professional work with academic and community clinicians to deliver the latest cancer care and clinical trials through collaborations and technology. She served four years on the board of directors for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), was elected Fellow of ASCO, and was chosen and served three years as Editor-in-chief of ASCO’s Oncology Practice journal. She has served on many other boards and committees for regional, state, and national oncology organizations including the California American Cancer Society. She has been recognized by her peers as one of the top 4 percent Best Doctors in the US annually since 2005. She writes and lectures for professionals and the public on high-quality, value-based cancer care incorporating personalized precision cancer therapies. Dr. Bosserman is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Stanford Medical School, and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School Oncology Fellowship program. She is a former faculty member at Stanford and Harvard Schools of Medicine. Outside of LACFA and her career, Dr. Bosserman enjoys delighting guests with delicious, healthy cooking, as well as for her family, eight grown children, and 13 grandchildren.

Michael Driebe
Director
Joined Fair Association: 2005
Michael Driebe was named Director in 2019. He serves as Chair on the Finance and Compensation Committee, as well as the Governance and Nominating Committee and Executive Committee. He is Chair of the LACFA Investment Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Learning Centers at Fairplex. Mr. Driebe is President of the Methodist Hospital Foundation, a sole support foundation for Methodist Hospital of Southern California. He is an active community member and has served the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Los Angeles Chapter as Treasurer, Secretary, and President. Mr. Driebe is a member of the Rotary Club of San Marino, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University. He received a master’s degree in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne.

Heidi Gallegos, IOM
Director

Heidi L. Gallegos, IOM was named Director in 2020. She serves as Chair on the Governance and Nominating Committee, as well as on the Finance and Compensation Committee. She is currently the President of Aligned Insight Consulting; a boutique consulting firm aiding non-profits and other 501(c)’ take their collective vision for their organization from thoughts to success.
As a former Trustee for the Rowland Unified School District in the San Gabriel Valley and as an Executive Officer for Chambers of Commerce in and around Southern California, Ms. Gallegos understands the connection between K-12 education and business. She started a non-profit organization to aid seniors, both high school and persons over the age of 55, to seek entrepreneurial opportunities as a way of finding one’s true calling in life. Ms. Gallegos studied Organizational Management at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (BIOLA) and earned certification with the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management, a four-year master’s course program on non-profit management. Ms. Gallegos is originally from the San Gabriel Valley but currently lives in Temescal Valley with her husband Bob. She enjoys time with her five adult children and seven grandchildren.

Peter Hidalgo
Director
Appointed: 2021
Peter Hidalgo was appointed as a Director in 2021, representing LA County Fifth District Supervisor Kathryn Barger. He serves on the Finance and Compensation Committee, as well as the Investment Committee. He is a seasoned government affairs and communications leader, elected official, youth mentor with more than 20 years of experience in the private and public sector. Mr. Hidalgo is a Spectrum government affairs executive with responsibility for local government relations throughout greater Los Angeles County. As an elected official, Peter is a member of the Walnut-based Mt. San Antonio College Board of Trustees. His previous employment includes the City of Los Angeles as Council Chief of Staff and as Mayor’s Press Secretary. He has held leadership roles in corporate communications with Southern California Gas Company and was part of the start-up team that launched the region’s long-distance commuter rail system, Metrolink as Director of External Affairs.
He serves on the Boards of the LA’s BEST, Just Us 4 Youth the San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network, The Learning Centers at Fairplex, Los Angeles County Business Federation and the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership. Peter was born in Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish. He holds a Bachelor and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.

Gil Ivey
Director
Joined Fair Association: 2008
Gilbert F. Ivey was named Director in 2021. He serves on the Governance and Nominating Committee. He retired from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California as the chief administrative officer. He serves on numerous boards and commissions, including executive boards of the Los Angeles Central City Association, the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, and the American Association of Blacks in Energy. He was re-elected as the Vice Chair of the Cooperative Economic Empowerment Movement (CEEM). He is a member of San Diego’s prestigious Catfish Club, Greater San Diego and Los Angeles Area Chambers of Commerce, and serves on the city of La Verne’s Youth & Family Action Committee Executive Board. Mr. Ivey is a recipient of the American Society for Public Administration Los Angeles Metro Chapter’s Tom Bradley Equal Opportunity Award in 2004, and the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce award in 2005. Mr. Ivey earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills and numerous professional designations and certifications in management from both Pepperdine University and the University of Southern California.

Dr. Devorah Lieberman
Director

Dr. Devorah Lieberman was named Director-Elect in 2020 and named Director in 2021. She serves on the Finance and Compensation Committee. She is the University of La Verne’s 18th and first female president. She brings more than 30 years of higher education experience, scholarship, and leadership to the institution. Dr. Lieberman is currently Chair-Elect of the New American Colleges & Universities (NAC&U), and serves on the Boards of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU), the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation, La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, and the LA Chamber of Commerce. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Humboldt State University, a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Communication and Gerontology from the University of Florida. She and her husband Roger Auerbach have two daughters, Alicea and Emery.

Margarita Luna
Director

Margarita Luna was named Director-Elect in 2021. She serves on the Governance and Nominating Committee. She is a Senior Program Manager at The California Endowment who focuses on developing health and racial equity investment strategies in underserved communities, particularly in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Ms. Luna also serves as Chair for the Inland Empire Funders Alliance, organizing and leading five collective impact and pooled fund efforts. She attended the University of California Los Angeles, where she earned a Master of Social Welfare in Health Services and a Master of Public Health in Community Health Sciences.

Kiana Webb

Kiana Webb was named Director in 2018 and currently serves on the LACFA Finance Committee. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Webb Family Enterprises, a management company that oversees numerous business lines through the lens of pursuing parity. Ms. Webb leads passionately, always striving to attain a higher degree of excellence, with the intention for those around her to reach their ultimate potential. She is an active participant in professional and social organizations, is an inspirational leader, a motivational speaker, and a community philanthropist. Ms. Webb is an advocate for improving the lives of women, children, and people of color, and is the proud mother of three children.
